We don’t but the majority of our customers are happy to show off their studios! If you would like to see one in situ please get in touch and we will find the closest match to your requirements near to you.
All of our garden rooms are under 2.5m high externally which means in most cases you don’t need planning permission. If you are unsure you can check with your local planning authority or feel free to give us a call
Your garden room cannot be physically touching an existing structure, but we can install very close to it with most of our ranges.
Absolutely! We use aluminium foil faced PIR rigid insulation boards in the floor, roof, and walls in all of our studios meaning your studio can be used the whole year round. Much cheaper alternative insulations are available (many used by our competitors) but coming from a construction background we know that this is such an important element of any building to make it properly useable throughout the year. We also offer a range of heating solutions such as underfloor heating, wall-mounted slimline heaters and air source heat pumps (providing heating and air con)
Yes, most estimates fall between 5-15% depending on the size and quality of the build. We would always recommend leaving your garden room insitu for this reason. If you do move and want another garden studio we will of course offer a special discount.
Yes, we pre-wire all of our studios with internal lighting and double sockets. All the wires, switches, and sockets are sunk into the walls just like in your house.
No ugly surface mount boxes or trunking in sight! Everything is wired to an external junction box which just needs connecting to your mains by your electrician with armoured cable.
You certainly can! We offer French, sliding and bifolding doors in UPVC or aluminium. You can also add fixed or opening windows. We can advise which upgrades are available for which range.
No – we use our own engineer designed adjustable steel base frame and foundation system so there is no need for you to lay concrete for us to install a studio on – just bare earth.
If you do have a concrete base then we can just adjust this system to work with your existing base.
Your Sanctum Garden Studio is made with high quality materials which are all designed to last for years to come.
Many of our customers have second or even third studios built which is testament to the quality and value for money we provide.
Yes we can dry line your studio for you and you can get a local plasterer to skim it for you, or we can finish the walls and ceiling and decorate for you. You can have any colour you like as long as its white!
Yes, this is an extra we can add to our Contemporary and Urban Studios. We can add an external or internal door to suit your requirements.
We don’t add bathrooms or kitchens to our garden studios. However we can work in conjunction with your plumber to install any required pipes
The short answer is no- unless you have been granted planning permission!
If your studio is clad in Western Red Cedar no painting or staining is required. Over time the colour will fade out to a silvery grey.
You can however treat the cedar if you want it to retain its warm colouring. We recommend applying an oil such as Owatrol Seasonite in the first year. After this you can use Owatrol Textrol.
Yes, all of our studios come with a Trading Standards Approved comprehensive 7 year warranty and 12 months for fixtures and fittings.
Our Hampton Studios take 1 day, our QuadPods 1 ½ days and our Contemporary/Urban Studios 2 days (for larger studios these may add an extra day).
This fast build time is what sets us apart from other companies, many take a week or two to install, or even longer! We can only achieve this by using MMC’s (Modern Methods of Construction), which means that the majority of the work is carried out in the controlled environment of our workshop.
Yes! We can take one payment per credit card, this can be your final deposit or your completion payment.
